Created by Jules Gravereaux, the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne was designed in 1899 by Edouard André. It was the West’s very first rose garden. A real living conservatory of old roses, the Roseraie of today presents a chronology of exceptional collections. Scientists, botanists, rose gardeners and breeders all come to meet and exchange here. But above all: visitors are enchanted by the exuberant forms, abundant colours and rich array of scents.
